Ever get one of those cringe moments when you realise you missed something small (or maybe not-so-small)?
We all have.
In fact, earlier today, I got an email from Amazon that had a little placeholder gem right in the middle:
“This is an example. Please replace.”
Now, I doubt Jeff Bezos was directly involved in this one.
But let’s face it: mistakes happen, even to the giants.
Sometimes, they’re big, like when GoDaddy got hacked. Sometimes, they’re small, like Amazon forgetting to swap out a line of filler text.
Either way, the world keeps turning, and nobody’s career ended over an email goof.
So why am I telling you this?
Because I see way too many people hesitating to hit send.
We get it.
No one wants to mess up.
But here’s the reality: it’s almost always better to send an email than not to.
Every single one of our e-commerce clients sees a boost in sales when they put themselves out there and communicate with their customers.
I’m talking about real, tangible results just from showing up in the inbox.
So, here’s the deal: the “perfect” email doesn’t exist and doesn’t need to.
The goal is to show up, connect, and make a sale or two.
No one’s judging you for a typo here or there. And if you’re still feeling a little shaky, well, that’s what we’re here for.
Sit down, write that email, and press send.
Or, if you’d rather let us take care of the heavy lifting, hit reply and let’s chat.
Have an absurdly bold day (typos and all),
Johannes Klupfel
