Let’s be honest.
A website is a means to an end.
No one cares about YOUR website like you do.
If you could double your sales without a website, wouldn’t you?
The reality is that you NEED a website to generate leads and inquiries and turn them into sales. Into dollars in the bank.
Heck, I’d shut down my website today if I knew it would grow my profits. But it doesn’t. Which is why you’re here in the first place.
There’s a very good chance that you’ve worked with multiple web designers, developers, marketers, agencies and who knows what in the past.
So how do you make sure you get what you pay for?
Well, first, there’s a problem.
Actually, problems.
For starters, how hard is it to find good staff these days? And then keep them?
Am I right?
Then the digital world keeps changing at a breathtaking pace. What worked yesterday doesn’t work today anymore.
And it is still a highly unregulated industry. Anyone can start an agency out of their bedroom and take your money.
And many do. Some may have a degree in marketing or web design, but that doesn’t mean anything.
It wasn’t that long ago that universities didn’t even teach about Google Ads in marketing courses. And just because they do doesn’t mean that it is still up to date or even relevant in the first place.
And many of those graduates have literally no real-world experience, and certainly not with 7 or 8-figure businesses.
And even web design agencies don’t have a clue as to what they’re doing.
Don’t believe me?
Google has a tool called Google Page Speed Insights that rates your websites from 0 – 100
I’ve googled web design sunshine coast and picked the top 10 results, and only one website passes Google’s test and has a ranking of 97. This is our Cloud Clicks website. But the other 9 websites get scores as low as 5 out of 100
I’m sure their website looks nice, and they’re nice people and all, but wouldn’t you want to work with someone that builds websites Google likes?
That’s not all. Who says you actually need a new website?
Because getting a new website will not fix your business.
And my guess is you don’t want a new website. You want to present yourself better. You want more leads, more sales and ultimately, more profit in the bank.
And getting a new website is a step in the wrong direction when not done properly and with purpose.
So what do you need?
What is going to fix your problem? What is going to increase your revenue and your profit?
Well, to be honest. I don’t know. Yet.
This is why we need to have a chat with you first. And identify if and how we can help you.
Far too often, the web designer sells you a website, the Video guy sells you a video, and the Google guy sells you SEO or Google Ads.
But no one stops to identify if that is what the problem is.
It could be your pricing. It could be the market. It could be your messaging. It could be your Google Rankings, your Google Ads, or all kinds of things.
No one goes to a doctor and gets a prescription without getting a diagnosis first.
Unheard of.
So why would this be any different?

The Cloud Clicks Business Growth Strategy
I get it. You want to grow your business overnight.
Who doesn’t?
And there are enough Gurus and so-called experts out there telling you that you’re only a funnel away. That riches await you. You’re so close to your personal jet, Ferrari, or whatever it is that’s being advertised.
And while this may be true for some, the reality is that this is simply not feasible for most businesses.
The best way to succeed is still slow and steady.
Do the right things at the right time over and over again, and in a few months or years, you can be an overnight success too.
It’s not sexy, but it’s true.
This is why the Cloud Clicks Business Growth Strategy is spaced out over 18 months.
6 months to lay the foundation,
6 months to dial in performance,
6 months to scale
Then, keep doing what’s working and refine, improve and continue to build out your system.
We’re here to help you put that system together and implement it for you!
So, what are those foundations?
Positioning and Copywriting
Most businesses have yet to learn how to communicate who they are, what they do and how they help their ideal customer.
Just look at some accountants or web design agencies.
I’m an accountant and do your taxes.
I am a web designer, and I build websites.
Me too.
I’ve been doing it for a very long time. I like to think I’m pretty good at it.
Look at all my certifications.
I was good in school.
Look at all these people I worked with.
bla bla bla
I’m sorry to break it to you. No one cares about you.
What do they care about?
Themselves.
How can you help ME?
What can you do for ME?
Before you get a new website, look at your messaging and who you’re talking to.
Make sure you can explain your customers’ problems and the solution to them.
Then design your website around the message. Not the other way around.
Competitor Research / Strategic Marketing Plan
To grow your business and as part of the Cloud Clicks Business Growth Strategy
we start with an audit of your existing website.
How well is your site built and optimised? Do you need a new website? Or a site restructure? OR a rebuild?
How do you set yourself apart from the competition?
Where are the opportunities?
How are you positioned price-wise?
Location? Impact? Focus?
We’ll do in-depth keyword research and identify opportunities for site optimisation. We’ll see if Google Ads would be the right place to start driving traffic.
Or maybe Facebook or Instagram.
We’ll check out your competition on Facebook and see what ads they’re running.
Part of growing your business is knowing who your competition is and what they’re doing.
And we can help you with that.
Web Design
Only then do we talk about web design.
The message needs to come first, and the site’s design supports what the words are saying.
You want words that sell and a site that builds trust.
That means we need to implement standard best practices, which you think would be a no-brainer. Still, far too often, basic foundational principles are overlooked.
Which hurts your site and your business.
So, you came here looking for web design advice or a pitch, and here I am telling you that that is just an add-on.
Well, it is important, but rather than looking at web design as a one-off task, it needs to be ongoing.
You need a website that looks good, loads blazing fast, ranks well on Google and converts traffic into leads.
And that is exactly what we deliver.
But once that is done, there are further ongoing optimisations.
We don’t just want to build a site and forget it.
No,
We want to keep improving the site’s performance so that in 18 months, the site converts better than when it was brand new.
Website Hosting
Website hosting is rarely discussed, but it is crucial for the proper performance of your website.
I get it.
Godaddy and others offer hosting plans from $5 per month. Some even offer $0.99 hosting plans.
That means, and most people don’t know this, that you will share a server with hundreds or even thousands of other businesses.
If one of those thousands of websites gets hacked or has dodgy content or malware, your site also gets affected. It’s not that long ago that all of Godaddy’s WordPress servers got hacked.
And often, those servers are overseas, in the US or elsewhere.
That’s why we offer dedicated Australian Hosting on servers that we control. This means that you get a more secure hosting environment for your website.
This means you deal with us and not some call centre in India should there be any issues.
But even if there were an issue, we would pick it up long before you or your customers do.
A fast, secure website representing your business well is worth paying a little more. Wouldn’t you agree?
Lead Generation
Great, now that you have a website, let’s get some leads.
The main job of your website is to either make a sale if you sell online or more likely to get someone to raise their hand showing interest in what you’re offering.
Assuming that you got your copy and offer right, the website loads fast, and you do have a call to action, you should get a conversion rate anywhere from 1-3%
You can get a 5-10% conversion rate with a little work.
Back in the day, when I worked for a Not for profit, I rebuilt and rewrote their landing page and went from a 3% conversion rate to 15%.
That is a 400% increase.
I will not promise you that we will get a similar result. There are just too many factors to take into consideration.
But I can promise you that we will improve whatever conversion rate you’re sitting at.
But there are other ways we can generate leads, such as Facebook or LinkedIn. For some of our clients, we recommended not running any ads. Instead, they made a list of their potential clients, which were only a few hundred in Australia, and called them up.
What you should do really depends on who you are and what you do.
This is why we NEED to chat before we can help you.
SEO
Jajaja, I know SEO is everyone’s favourite topic.
Free traffic
SEO is dead
SEO doesn’t work
SEO does work
Black magic, money grab, I’ve heard it all.
And, to be honest, I am not a huge fan of SEO.
And most likely, it needs to be part of your overall digital strategy.
It looks like Google is going nowhere in a hurry. Even though it did look like that in 2020.
And even if Google packs up, as long as there are websites and someone is going to look for answers, you’ll want your website to be easily found.
In a nutshell, that is what SEO is.
Optimise your website so that it ranks well on a search engine.
First, through the way your site is built and how it’s set up
Then the content on your site, how often you update it, the quality of your content, and then, of course, links.
How many legitimate, relevant, high-value links are pointing to your site.
The more, the better,
as long as they’re legit, relevant and valuable
Once again, we can help with that.
And once again, everything works together in unison to get the best possible results.
No shortcuts here, I’m sorry.
Paid advertising
Now, we’re getting to my previous favourite topic.
Paid advertising.
It’s how I started out.
In 2009, I taught myself how to build a landing page and run Google and Facebook ads.
I mean, what’s not to like?
You have a product or service. You build a page, you set up an ad, and literally, within hours, you can get traffic.
You pay per click. You should know what your conversion rate is. How much a click and a lead are worth. It’s all very basic math.
That appeals to me.
Since 2009, a lot has changed. You wouldn’t recognise the interface if you logged into an old ad account.
Plus machine learning, AI, If it were up to google, all you would do is add your credit card and URL and leave it up to them.
Which you can do.
I wouldn’t suggest it, though.
We see the best results when man and machine work together.
Let Google do its thing while keeping an eye on what’s going on and improving things where necessary.
It’s a never-ending learning curve.
But we dig that stuff. We’re nerds like that.
Facebook Ads
No marketing strategy would be complete without Facebook and Instagram. But compared to Google, Facebook, or, should I say, Meta is still far off.
Where Facebook shines is by targeting people demographically.
So, if someone is specifically looking for a product or a service, Google is the way to go. But if they have not learned about you or your product or service, Facebook is the way to introduce them to you.
The problem is people on Facebook and Instagram are notoriously distracted.
You go to Google to find an answer to your problem. You go to Facebook to distract yourself or kill a minute on the toilet. Or while watching TV.
So, while you can get in front of basically anyone, you have to work much harder to get them to buy from you.
Unless it’s an impulse purchase.
I mean, how often have you spent $4.99 on something you didn’t even know existed seconds ago? And then you never looked at it?
See? It does work.
Email Marketing
This brings me to email marketing.
Yeah, I know email is dead too.
Whatever, it works for me.
And millions of other businesses.
Just ask yourself. How often do you check your email?
I’m subscribed to a few people and look forward to their daily emails.
I don’t read it every day, but I go back and read up on stuff I missed.
And to this day, I haven’t unsubscribed from those friggin Dominoes emails. I just don’t want to miss out on an epic Pizza deal. I mean, who would?
You?
I don’t think so.
Maybe Pizza is not your thing, but I’m sure there is someone you’re gladly letting into your email inbox.
And if you do a good job writing emails, people will also look forward to your emails.
Or you can let us take care of that for you 😉
Ongoing Website Management
You might have just gotten a brand-new website or had it for a while. Either way, a website is like any other asset (except gold, I guess), but it needs TLC.
If you’ve got a car, you need to service it.
If you’ve got a house, you got to maintain it.
If you’ve got a business, you’ve got to run it.
And if you’ve got a website, you need to keep it up to date.
As in updating WordPress, plugins and apps.
You want to make sure everything is backed up.
You want to ensure everything works, such as your forms or click-to-call links.
Ever wondered why you’re not getting any leads? And it turned out something went wrong with your web form?
Well, better to find that out sooner rather than later, wouldn’t you say?
And you can figure out how to do all that by yourself or put your head in the sand and ignore it altogether until your site gets hacked or breaks.
Or you can have someone take care of it for you.
Ongoing Website Optimisations
But it’s not just about maintaining your site.
I want my site to keep improving.
I’m not talking massive changes, full rebuild.
No. I’m talking about a 1% improvement here
A little fix there
And before you know it, your website soars on Google, and your conversion rate has doubled.
Wouldn’t that be nice?
But instead of taking it slow and steady, 99% of website owners ignore their site and then quickly get some work done. Overhaul the whole site and forget about something important, like
I don’t know – SEO?
conversion tracking
And instead of getting an awesome new website, they end up with a new website that sucks and then spend years recovering lost ground.
Been there? Done that?
I know I have, back in the day. Listening to the wrong experts.
And I can’t tell you how often I talk to business owners that couldn’t explain why their website rankings disappeared when they got a new website. Even though they were patient like the web agency said, and waited 6 months, and now their website is nowhere to be found.
But not anymore. Right?
Because you’re going to schedule a call with
That’s right. Us.
Ongoing Copywriting
And we’re not stopping at ongoing website optimisation.
Oh no
That’s where we get started.
We then look at your copy across the site and your business.
Where can we improve?
I recently looked at a client’s email account, and while they had heaps of automation setup, they forgot a couple of things.
They should have sent monthly or even weekly emails to their whole list.
They only sent to about 10% of contacts. And missed out on a huge amount of sales over the years.
And the second mistake they made was to add people to an automation, send 4 or 5 emails, and then let them drop off.
So what we’ve done is plug those holes.
But guess what. These were only the most obvious holes at the time.
A couple of months or even a year later, there will be more opportunities.
Maybe you managed to move your average number of orders from 1.5 to 2.4
That’s excellent news. But let’s keep chipping away to get that to 4 or 5
Shall we?
Or how many of your email leads are scheduling a call with you?
I am sure we can look at the copy across your emails to improve that.
Or improve the conversion rate on your best blog post.
Or improve the rankings on your best-ranking page.
There is no shortage of things to do.
Only a shortage of time and knowledge if you try to do it yourself.
Monthly and Quarterly meetings
Talking about knowledge and time.
There is only so much that we can do for you.
It is still your business, after all.
And we need to ensure we’re on track with where you want to take your business.
And that we’re aware of anything relevant for us to know. And that is important for your leads to know.
So, as a non-negotiable, we want to meet with you at least every 3 months. More of a big picture, let’s chart the course for the next 3-6-12 months.
But ideally, we would touch base with you every month.
In the beginning, we will, but usually, those monthly meetings become rarer and rarer.
Which is unfortunate for both you and us.
Having a monthly check-in to make sure all metrics are on track won’t hurt, and getting a little feedback won’t’ hurt either.
So all our packages come with those options built in.
We think of it as an investment into the success of your operation.
Content Creation: Blog Posts, social posts
So we’ve talked about emails, copywriting about SEO.
And all of this overlaps and support each other.
We want to help you to keep creating awesome content.
Not just sales-optimised copy but educational content.
Content that ranks well
Content t that entertains
If you’ve been in the Cloud Clicks sphere for any length, you would have noticed that we like to crack a joke every now and then.
Or tell stories that initially seem unrelated but then make a relevant point.
And you don’t have to sound like us. in fact, I hope you don’t
But you want to find your voice or let us help you find it.
And then use that voice across the various channels you have available.
Including social channels.
I am not the hugest social media fan.
I prefer to run ads over social posts, but I get it.
It’s important and looks nice if it’s done right.
So part of our package includes content creation plus posts that we’ll post to your social channels.
They’re most likely not gonna go viral, and that’s not the point.
It’s to stake out your presence on those platforms.
And when you want to go harder on any of them, you have a foundation to fall back on.
Case Studies
Over the years, we’ve worked with hundreds of businesses and made many of them millions of dollars, such as

Or you could hire an in-house marketing manager.
If they’re straight out of uni might cost you $60,000 per year
Or someone more experienced at $80,000-$125,000 per year
But they can’t generally do everything themselves, so you still need another $20,000 in services and another $15,000 in tools and resources.
So even if you get a part-timer to do the work for you and outsource a bunch of stuff on Fiverr or Upwork, you’re still looking at easily $50,000 per year.
And you don’t know if the work gets done right or if you’re walking backwards.
So, we’re not charging you anywhere near any of that.
But we’re providing at least that much in value.
Realistically, anything you pay us, you’ll make back in no time.
You wish you’d gotten in touch sooner.
So what’s the old proverb about planting a tree?
The best time was 20 years ago,
the second best time is now.
Get in touch today. You’ll be glad you did. And you’ll be positively surprised by how affordable we are
